HOSPITALIZATION, MEDICAL AND PARAMEDICAL EXPENSES COVERAGE

Up to $5,000,000
Hospitalization in a private or semi-private room
Incidental expenses: $100 per hospitalization
Physicians' fees
Medical equipment
Nursing care during hospitalization
Professional services: $300 per profession (chiropractor, physiotherapist, osteopath or podiatrist)
Diagnostic fees
Prescription drugs required for emergency treatment
Dental care following an accident (maximum $2,000 per accident and $500 for other emergency dental treatment)

TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES

Ambulance or taxi services
Repatriation to the province of Residence
Transportation to visit the covered person
The cost of an escort is covered in the case of child repatriation
Transportation for the purposes of identifying a deceased covered person
Return the vehicle to the province of residence (up to $5,000)
Return of the deceased
Return of a pet to the province of residence when the covered person is repatriated (up to $500 maximum)
Repatriation of a covered person's remains or cremation or burial at place of death (up to $10,000)

BAGGAGE RETURN

Cost of baggage return when a covered person is repatriated for medical reasons, up to a maximum of $300

SUBSISTENCE ALLOWANCE

Meal and accommodation expenses when the insured must delay his return due to illness or injury (up to $300 per day, up to a maximum of $3,000)

CANASSISTANCE TRAVEL ASSISTANCE AND MEDICAL FOLLOW-UP IN CANADA

Medical Follow-up in Canada Benefit - included with the Hospital and medical benefit
When a covered person is repatriated to Canada after hospitalization out of Canada, the insurer will reimburse certain costs if they are incurred within 15 days of the repatriation. (Ask us for more information.)
